About the Club

The Club is situated in Roe Downs Road, Medstead, GU34 5LG between the Bowls Club and Medstead Junior School, close to the Village Green and is usually approached from the A31 at Four Marks.

Facilities

There are three hard surface courts each with floodlights. Our substantial Clubhouse has

toilets and kitchen facilities.

East Hants District League Team Captains

Tennis Programme

Club Night mix-in for all senior and invited junior players on Thursday evenings from 7pm until 10.00pm.

Junior Club Night. Junior match practice, on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 7pm.

Monday evening social matches for up to 16 players in the winter months. Sessions of mixed doubles matches are played at 7.15pm until “lights-out” at 10.00pm. Play is by prior arrangement.

The Club has nine teams entered into the East Hants Tennis League for which players of a suitable standard can be selected.

Courts can be booked up to one week in advance for 90 minute sessions.

Junior Coaching for children age six and above is on Saturday afternoons from 1.45pm in sessions based on age and ability. Coaching for younger children can be arranged with the Coach.

Adult group coaching is run on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm until 9.00pm.

Adult beginners group coaching is run on Tuesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
